2024 Spring Athens Little League

Athens Little League Evaluation Schedule Saturday February 3rd @ The Yard at Wire Park * Age for evaluations is based on your League Age, the age your child will be on August 31, 2024. Time Group 2:15 pm 11-12 year old Baseball 3:30 pm 9-10 year old Baseball 4:45 pm 7-8 year old Baseball 6:00 pm Girls Softball 7:15 pm 13-16 year old Baseball (optional) Registration begins 30 minutes before allotted time. Upon arrival, each family will need to sign-in at front desk and digitally sign a facility waiver as well as verify uniform size. Guidelines and Processes 1) Coaches meeting 5 minutes before each start time in the conference room for coaches interested in observing the evaluation. This is optional. Coaches will not be assigned to teams until after evaluations. 2) Only head coaches and assistant coaches will be permitted in the hallways and around the cages/infield 3) Parents are asked to sit in the Upper Deck in order to provide a safe and efficient environment for athletes/coaches 4) No metal cleats at the Yard! Sunday February 4th @ Holland Park Youth Sports Complex 1:00pm Who? - All coach pitch players - Anyone wanting to do a second evaluation after Saturday - Anyone unable to attend Saturday's evaluation - No Senior League Baseball Notes: - All League Age 12 year olds not currently on a Majors team must attend at least one evaluation in order to play this spring. - Dick's Sporting Goods Coupon Weekend isTHIS WEEKEND. See below. - All returning majors players and all registered Senior League players are welcome to attend evaluations at The Yard just to experience it and receive their data. - Any players on a Majors team last season who wish to reenter the draft must attend an evaluation this weekend. - Tee Ball players do not need to attend evaluations. Baseball and Softball Player Evaluations (except for baseball Senior League) will be the weekend of Feb . Times will be announced closer to the dates. Please make every effort possible to attend evaluations unless you have an exception below.

Tee Ball: There are no evaluations for teeball. Teams will be formed in mid February and then will be notified.

Coach Pitch: Coach Pitch players are expected to attend one tryout session, either on Saturday or Sunday. Following evaluations, teams will be formed.

Rookie Baseball: Rookie players are expected to attend one tryout session, either on Saturday or Sunday. Following evaluations, teams will be formed.

Softball: Softball players are expected to attend one tryout session, either on Saturday or Sunday. Following evaluations, teams will be formed.

Senior League Baseball: Senior League players can attend evaluations at the Yard on Feb 3, but are not required to. Official evaluation dates will be released at a later time.

Kid Pitch Baseball Ages 9-12: Kid Pitch players are expected to attend one tryout session, either on Saturday or Sunday. Kids on tenured Majors teams do not need to attend evaluations unless they are reentering the draft.
